THE TACOMA LARIETTES
Precision Equestrian Drill Team

ABOUT OUR TEAM
Our team consists of approximately 25-30 members, all of whom keep our own horses and transportation. The thrill of working together and performing on the horses we love is what drives our group of determined, strong-minded cowgirls to practice at home perfecting our riding skills, and hauling horse trailers through traffic and bad weather for drill practices and events.

What makes our team stand out is our unique blacklight drill. We perform in total darkness under black lights in our custom made uniforms and tack that glow in the dark. We perform our blacklight drill every October at our Halloween show at our home arena, The Tacoma Unit #1. If you haven't seen us ride a blacklight drill yet, you are truly missing out.
Our team has performed at numerous events, such as: Roy Rodeo, Omak Stampede, Seafair Torchlight Parade, Daffodil Festival Parades, the Tacoma Dome, Ellensburg Rodeo, the Puyallup Fair, the Pierce County Fair, King County Fair, King Dome, Portland Rose Parade, Long Beach Parade, Auburn Parade, Port Orchard Parade, Air Mobility Rodeo at McChord Airforce Base, Eugene Fair, and the Quarter Horse Congress!

Our team is a founding team of the Washington Ladies Riding Club Association (est. 1984). We currently hold membership to the WLCRCA and PNWDTA (Pacific Northwest Drill Team Association) organizations.
The Tacoma Lariettes are recognized as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the Internal Revenue Service. We hold various fundraisers throughout the year to raise awareness and funds for those in need in our own local community.
